The production team for Romelia Senki (Romelia War Chronicle) has revealed a significant expansion to its voice cast, confirming 14 new additions to the roster. The series, which adapts Ryou Ariyama’s action fantasy light novels, is currently slated for a two-cour run beginning in October 2026 across Japanese networks including Tokyo MX, BS11, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto.
The newly announced cast members include Hiromichi Tezuka as Hans, Tomohiro Yamaguchi as Grain, Ryuuichi Hirose as Jini, Kenta Hosoda as Tarth, Tasuku Kaito as Sei, Rikuya Yasuda as Zeze, Hiroki Matsukawa as Brai, Taiki Yamashita as Ben, Souhei Horikane as Gatt, Naoki Sakurai as Rett, Mizuki Ishii as Shuro, Hayato Kimura as Meryl, Shuntarou Hara as Borel, and Hiromu Mineta as Micha.
These actors join a production led by director Hiroshi Shirai at studio Atra, with series composition by Aya Satsuki. The visual aesthetic is being crafted by character designers Yoshiko Saitou and Yuuta Ootaka, while the score is composed by KOHTA YAMAMOTO. The project adapts the original web novel series that began on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2019, which later moved to print under Shogakukan’s Gagaga Books label.
Beyond the light novel, the franchise has maintained a steady presence through a manga adaptation by Ryou Kamito, which has been serialized on the Manga Doa app since 2021. Seven Seas Entertainment currently holds the English license for the manga, with the fourth volume expected to arrive in December. With the cast now significantly fleshed out, the focus shifts to how the production will balance the two-cour narrative arc across the 2026 broadcast window.
