A Tale of the Secret Saint is officially set to arrive this fall, with the production committee confirming an October 3 premiere date. The announcement arrived alongside a new promotional video that introduces Kikunosuke Toya as the voice of Curtis Bannister, the captain of the 13th Knight Brigade. The series, which was previously delayed from an original April window, will begin its broadcast run on Tokyo MX and BS11, with AT-X following on October 5.
Digital distribution plans are notably aggressive, with ABEMA and Amazon Prime Video set to stream the first two episodes on October 3. Following the premiere, the platforms will maintain a schedule that puts each new episode online one week ahead of its Japanese television broadcast. The series features a veteran production team, including director Tomoe Makino at Felix Film, series composer Deko Akao, and composer Kenichiro Suehiro.
Based on the light novel series by Touya and chibi, the story follows Fia, a knight-in-training who recovers memories of her past life as a powerful Saint. The franchise has seen significant success in Japan, ranking second in the Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! guidebook for two consecutive years. Beyond the main series, Seven Seas also publishes the A Tale of the Secret Saint ZERO prequel novels, highlighting the depth of the world-building that fans of the source material can expect to see adapted.
