A Returner's Magic Should Be Special has seen a massive spike in viewer interest, with its trending score jumping to 845 following the release of its second season premiere on October 7, 2026. The series, which currently boasts 3,300 active viewers, continues the story of Desir Arman, a man granted a second chance to prevent the destruction of his world by mastering magic and rallying his allies.
This surge in activity suggests that the season opener successfully recaptured the audience that followed the initial adaptation. With the series holding a strong 86/100 rating on Kitsu, the momentum indicates high viewer satisfaction with the transition into the new arc. Whether this interest will sustain through the season depends on how the show handles the escalating stakes of its time-travel premise, a key hook that separates it from standard school-fantasy fare.
