The upcoming anime adaptation of Metabo Hagure's A Livid Lady's Guide to Getting Even: How I Crushed My Homeland with My Mighty Grimoires has announced additional cast members and details regarding its theme songs. The series, also known as The Furious Princess Decided to Take Revenge, is set to premiere in July 2026.
Ikumi Hasegawa joins the cast as Mireille Katarina, a loyal maid to the protagonist Elizabeth. Yui Ogura will voice Lunoa Carlton, an apprentice with the valuable "Item Analysis" magic skill. Ayumi Uehara is cast as Misha Tail, a catkin girl with exceptional physical abilities. Yui Ogura will also perform the opening theme song, titled “Q.E.D.”, while Aguri Ōnishi is set to perform the ending theme, “Goodbye Lullaby.”
Studio Comet is producing the anime, with Naoyuki Kuzuya directing and Mitsutaka Hirota overseeing the series scripts. The story follows Elizabeth Leiston, a noblewoman betrayed by her fiancé and falsely imprisoned by the kingdom she served. Armed with powerful magic grimoires, she seeks revenge against those who wronged her.
REMOW will host an industry panel at Anime Expo on July 4, where attendees can catch a preview of the first half of the anime's premiere episode. The company has confirmed it will manage the global licensing rights for the anime.
