Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle - Akaza Sairai, the opening entry in the massive trilogy adaptation, has received a nomination for "Best Superhero Movie" at the upcoming sixth annual Critics Choice Awards. The film, which shattered Japanese box office records by surpassing Spirited Away, continues to garner international recognition following its successful theatrical runs in North America.
Joining the ranks of nominees is the live-action adaptation of the infinite-loop horror game Exit 8. The film, directed by Genki Kawamura, also secured a nomination in the "Best Superhero Movie" category. Additionally, lead actor Kazunari Ninomiya—known for his roles in Gantz and Assassination Classroom—is competing for "Best Actor in a Superhero Movie" for his performance in the project.
