The third season of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You has officially expanded its sprawling roster. Voice acting veteran Rie Kugimiya has joined the production as Yaku Yakuzen, the grandmother of Kusuri and the latest addition to Rentarō’s ever-growing soulmate collection. The character made her surprise entrance during the season's eighth episode, which aired this past Sunday.
Kugimiya joins a stacked ensemble cast for this latest installment, which features performances from Kaori Ishihara, Ayana Taketatsu, Hana Tamegai, and Aoi Koga. The production remains in the hands of the core team from the first two seasons, with director Hikaru Sato returning to Bibury Animation Studio. Series composition is handled once again by Takashi Aoshima, while character designer Akane Yano continues to adapt the manga’s distinct aesthetic for the screen.
As the franchise enters its third season, it continues to lean heavily into its surreal, meta-comedy roots that have made it a standout in the seinen harem genre. With production support from Bushiroad Move and Lantis, the series maintains its high-energy pace, currently airing across Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and BS11. The opening theme, "Daisuki♡Zutto Eien ni♡," is performed by the voice cast, keeping with the show's tradition of ensemble-led musical contributions.
